MISA PNC EDI Symposium
January 13, 2010
The Early Development Instrument (EDI) is a developmental checklist completed by kindergarten teachers and designed to measure a child's developmental readiness as they begin school. At this symposium, three School Districts within the Toronto Region shared strategies successfully implemented in their work. Participants had the opportunity to explore two of the three District Plans. Dr. Clyde Hertzman, University of British Columbia, and Dr. Charles Pascal, research author of the Minister's resource for early years and preschool program implementation, were keynote speakers.
